Weekly Recap #114: Week of 7/21 – 7/27

It’s time for another weekly recap post of all things happening on and off the blog. This week I’ll be linking to the Sunday Post, which is hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviewer and to Stacking the Shelves, which is hosted by Tynga’s Reviews.

I don’t have much to report this week.  I came down with a nasty summer cold a few days ago (congestion, body aches, sore throat, the whole nine yards), so aside from dragging myself to and from work each day, I’ve done nothing but lay in bed,  read, and watch Will & Grace on Hulu for days.  Thankfully I’m feeling better this weekend so I’ll be playing catch up in the blogosphere in between doing all of the chores I’ve neglected since I got sick.

I did check in with the blogosphere long enough to see the heartbreaking news about Grace.  My heart goes out to her family, especially her kids.  I hate that their mom was taken from them way too soon. Rest in peace, Grace. ♥

I believe that summer colds are worse than colds any other time of the year. Glad to hear you are on the upswing. I am reading the Tucker book this week too. Hope we both love it!

Feel better, summer colds are bad, I feel like they are worse than winter ones for some reason.
Enjoy your books, I’ve heard good things about The Book Charrmer.
That is really sad about Grace.

I think summer colds are the worst sometimes. Being sick combined with the heat can be such a bummer. Hope you feel better soon! And yes the news about Grace was heartbreaking. Absolutely terrible.

The Escape Room and The Perfect Wife both look good!

My heart still breaks for Grace. I can’t imagine how her family is pulling through, her youngest is barely two right?

Summer colds are the absolute worst! I had a minor one (like two days) and I was miserable.

Yes, I’m still in shock that she’s gone and my heart is broken for her family, especially her kids. And yes, I think the youngest was right around 2. So sad. 🙁

Colds can really be the worst – I hope you are starting to feel better. I do love Will & Grace though; fun show.

I’m also very upset about the passing of Grace. It’s just heartbreaking.

I’m glad you are feeling better, but so sorry about the summer cold. I think it’s already hard enough to breathe well in the summer with the heat and humidity and to add a cold on top of it? Rough! You have some great reads ahead of you- loving that list! I hope you have a wonderful week ahead, Suzanne!
