Top Ten Tuesday – My 10 Favorite Reads of the Year So Far
Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Top Ten Tuesday has been one of my favorite memes ever since I started blogging, so huge thanks to Jana for taking over the hosting duties!
This week’s TTT topic is a Freebie, so I thought it would be fun to share my 10 Favorite Reads of the Year So Far. All of my favorite authors delivered big for me in the first half of the year, so these are all highly anticipated releases that met or exceeded my very high expectations.

Thanks, I really have. 🙂
I have so many of these still on my TBR, so I’m glad to see them on your list! Business or Pleasure is one I’m particularly looking forward to!
Business or Pleasure was a fun read for me, so I hope you’ll enjoy it as much as I did.
Happy Place, Love Theoretically, Hello Stranger, Fourth Wing, and The True Love Experiment are all on my TBR, so I’m excited to see them on your top 10 list!
I hope they are all wonderful reads for you!
This is such a good idea for a top ten list. And I’ve read two of these and loved them too! (Seven Year Slip and Fourth Wing)

Love, Theoretically sounds interesting for sure.

It’s a fun one. 🙂
Just about everything on your list is either on my reading plan for the next couple of months or I’ve already read. Wonderful list (of course), Suzanne💜

Thanks! I hope all of the ones still on your TBR end up being winners for you. 🙂
Yours Truly and Fourth Wing were five star reads for me too. I do plan on reading Happy Place, and I own it, but I’ve been waiting because it’s the September choice for one of my book clubs.

I hope you enjoy it when it’s time for the book club read. 🙂
Wow, there are quite a few here I would love to read. I keep hearing about The True Love Experiment. Have a wonderful day, Suzanne 🌞📚💜
That’s such a fun one. It pairs up with The Soulmate Equation so if you haven’t already read that one, you’ll want to start there. 🙂
Can you believe it’s mid year already?? These look like nice summery reads as well.

Right? My son will be back in school in less than a month and it feels like he just got out, lol.
For the ones I read, I have to agree – total standouts. Center, CLo, Jimenez, Henry, and Poston are always great for me. I can’t wait for them to release new books. I was able to snag the Harvey book from the library today. Very excited to read it
I hope you love the Harvey book!
I’ve read 4 of these and have plans to read a couple more. Center, Lauren, Henry and Hazelwood I’ve read.

Thanks, me too! 🙂
It’s so disappointing when a highly-anticipated book by a favorite author bombs, so I’m glad all of these worked well for you. THE SUMMER OF SONGBIRDS is one I really want to read. It sounds excellent.
Happy TTT!

Forth Wing is popular. I hadn’t heard of it before people started posting their “best books” lists this month. I’m glad you enjoyed all these!

Fourth Wing wasn’t on my radar until then either, but it definitely lived up to the hype for me.
I’ve got all but two of these books on my TBR list, and I’m just waiting for library holds to come in on three of them. 😀

I’ve read half of these and loved them (#s 1,2,5,8, & 10). I guess I need to read the rest!

Fourth Wing, The True Love Experiment and Happy Place made my list too! I only just finished The Seven Year Slip, otherwise it would have been on my list too 🙂 And I’m super excited about Love, Theoretically and Business or Pleasure.
I hope they’re both great reads for you!

The Paris Daughter is on my TBR so I’m happy to see it’s been one of your favourites from this year so far!
Jo recently posted…Top Ten Tuesday #428
It’s one of my favorite books from Kristin Harmel too. I hope you love it as much as I did. 🙂
I pre-ordered Fourth Wing because it’s Rebecca Yarros and it’s gorgeous, but I’ve been paralyzed ever since and have yet to start it. I get so nervous about fantasy. It’s just not my genre and I actually worry that I’m not going to be able to follow/keep up. Crazy, I know. *shrugs* But there’s no denying the rave reviews!
I would say to try a chapter or two and see how you feel about it.
It’s a great feeling when you can rely on a dependable author to deliver and keep delivering. I haven’t read any of these (though I definitely recognize most of ’em!), but The Summer of Songbirds’ cover immediately caught my eye. Sounds like a rich, thoughtful read.

I just finished The True Love Experiment today and I loved it!

Everyone talking about The Seven Year Slip makes me want to cave and read it. Hope the second half of 2023 is full of wonderful reads for you!
Thanks, I wish the same for you. 🙂
