Top Ten Tuesday – Books That Made Me Laugh Out Loud

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.  Top Ten Tuesday has been one of my favorite memes ever since I started blogging, so huge thanks to Jana for taking over the hosting duties!

This week’s TTT topic is Books That Made Me Laugh Out Loud.  At first I was going to skip this week’s topic since I know I’ve done at least one post recently about funny books, but then I decided that with this depressing pandemic lingering, you can never have too many recs when it comes to books that will make you laugh these days.  Some of the ones I’m sharing are truly LOL funny, while others have some serious moments mixed in with the humor.  Guaranteed that they’ll all leave you with a smile on your face though. 🙂

No one should ever question my love of funny books, because I am finding many I have read on people’s lists today. I read 9 of these, and they definitely all made me smile and chuckling and sometimes more. I am reading the last Brown Sister’s book right now, and it’s as hilarious as the others.

Same. I was trying to think of a different topic to do this week, but nothing was coming to me, so I did funny books even though it was TOUGH to think of ten. I really don’t read laugh-out-loud funny books. I’m with you – a prefer a blend of humor and serious. Those are the best kinds of books!

    Happy TTT!
