Can’t Wait Wednesday – TWICE IN A BLUE MOON by Christina Lauren
“Waiting On” Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted at Breaking the Spine, which encourages fellow bloggers to spotlight upcoming releases that we’re excited about. It is a meme that I have loved participating in for over a year now, but as Jill is no longer actively posting, from now on I’ll just be linking to Can’t Wait Wednesday, hosted by Tressa at Wishful Endings, which is a spinoff of the original WoW meme.

My selection for this week is TWICE IN A BLUE MOON by Christina Lauren. This writing duo is fast becoming a favorite of mine so I was ecstatic to sign into Netgalley this morning and see that they have another new book coming out later this year. And it’s a second chance romance too, which makes me all the more excited since that’s a trope I love.
TWICE IN A BLUE MOON by Christina Lauren
Publication Date: October 22, 2019
From Goodreads:
From the New York Times and USA TODAY bestselling duo behind The Unhoneymooners and the “delectable, moving” (Entertainment Weekly) My Favorite Half-Night Stand comes a poignant romance that follows two people who fall in love during a life-changing overseas vacation—only for the truth to change everything once they return home.
As an adventurous send-off to her childhood, eighteen-year-old Tate Jones travels with her grandmother from their small town in Northern California to London. But the vacation of a lifetime is wonderfully derailed by the appearance of two charming Vermont farmers: grandfather Luther and his handsome grandson Sam.
Sam and Tate fall hard and fast. For two glorious weeks, the couple share their hopes, dreams, and secrets. Sam admits he suspects his grandfather is dying and that this could be the last trip they take together, and Tate reveals that she is the hidden daughter of one of the biggest film stars in the world—a secret she’s never told anyone before.
But when Tate is exposed by a crush of cameras and reporters, she knows she’s been betrayed by the one person she thought she could trust. She is forced to decide whether she will return to her quiet life or embrace being in the public eye. So when Sam reappears in her world more than a decade later, can Tate forgive the past and rekindle the passion they shared on their magical trip abroad? And does she even want to?
With Christina Lauren’s signature “beautifully written and remarkably compelling” (Sarah J. Maas, New York Times bestselling author) prose, Twice in a Blue Moon is an unforgettable and moving novel of young love and second chances.

I’d love to hear what upcoming book releases you’re waiting on this Wednesday? Leave me your link in the comments below and I’ll stop by and check out your CWW selection for this week. 🙂
I LOVE their books so this is highly anticipated for me.
I really need to read more of their books. So far I’ve only tried 2 but they were both so good.
Do these two ever stop writing?? Didn’t they just release two books already this year😉 Anyway, I love the sound of this, adding it to my list!
Right? They are writing machines!
I really can’t wait to read this one, Suzanne! It sounds so good! It amazes me how quickly they write!
Me too. They obviously work very well together. 🙂
I haven’t heard of this one before, it looks interesting though.
Here’s our WoW: https://jennreneeread.blogspot.com/2019/05/waiting-on-wednesday-beholder-by-anna.html
The day I wrote my post was the first day I had heard about it too. I really hope it’s as good as their last few books.
This looks great! I have never read this author but I love the summary of this book.
I just started reading their books late last year and really love them.
Man these guys crank books out left and right. Bet this one will be super popular as well! Thanks for sharing.
They really do. They are writing machines, lol.
Oooh!! Thanks for the heads up!!
You’re welcome!
CLo had just been churning out hit after hit for me. I mean, I no longer read the synopsis. I just add them to my TBR.
Right? I’m still fairly new to them but as soon as I saw their name on the cover on this one on NG, I hit Request, lol.
Second chance romances are a neat trope! Hope this one turns out great!
Thanks, me too!
Second-chance romances seem to be right up my alley lately, I’ll have to keep this one in mind!
Same here. I’ve really loved the last few I’ve read.
I just saw this on NG. Do these ladies write three books a year???
They are on a roll right now!
Oh my, so that’s the second chance romance in this! I hope this is a wonderful read when you get it Suzanne — it sounds so good!
Thanks, I hope so too. I’ve loved all of the other books from them I’ve read so my hopes are high for this one too.
I saw this on NG and was like eak this looks good!
Same!
Ooooh, this sounds like it will be a good one! I haven’t read any of the previous books, so thank you for the introduction to these authors, Suzanne. I love the titles and covers, too. When I began reading the plot summary, I couldn’t help but think of A Room With a View, one of my favorites. Lucy is on holiday with her Aunt and they meet a father/son duo. I’ve read the book at least twice plus I own the DVD. 😛
A Room With a View does sound like a pretty good comparison. I love both the book and DVD for that title as well.
One of these days I’ll read Christina Lauren—I know so many people love their books!
I’ve only read a couple so far but both of them were just such fun reads!
The Unhoneymooners hasn’t been released yet, and there’s already another book to look forward to! This author duo wastes no time! My first CLO book was Autoboyography, which I loved, and it’s what started my interest in the authors. Roomies wasn’t my favorite, but Josh and Hazel was great!
Lindsi @ Do You Dog-ear? 💬
I still need to read all three of those but I’ve heard good things about them all.
Christina Lauren is always good. I only know the author duo from the Beautiful Bastard series. Have not read other books by them. But with that one, that might change. Thanks for sharing and happy reading to the both of us.
I’ve not tried that series yet but I’ve heard good things about it.
Yes, this is on my list too! I love a second chance romance
Me too and this one sounds like a good one.
