Top Ten Tuesday: Ten New-to-Me Romance Authors I Hope to Read for the First Time in 2023
Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Top Ten Tuesday has been one of my favorite memes ever since I started blogging, so huge thanks to Jana for taking over the hosting duties!
This week’s TTT topic is actually meant to be Indie/Self-Published Books but I am sadly not great at keeping track of which of the authors I read are considered Indie. That said, I thought it would be fun to share some new-to-me romance authors that I’m hoping to read for the first time this year. I keep hearing great things about their books from fellow bloggers and bookstagrammers so I’m very excited to give them all a try. I do believe some of them are Indie as well, so I’m not completely rogue this week, haha.

I haven’t read any of these, but Elsie Silver is on my list to try!
The Fine Print and Hooked are on my TBR. Especially after reading The Never King!
Great topic, Suzanne! Devney Perry and Catherine Cowles are both big favorites of mine. I’ve loved everything I’ve read by them. Elsie Silver is one I definitely want to try this year, too.
Katee Robert is the only author here I’m familiar with, but I see her name all over, she must be popular. I hope you get to read some of these😁
I’m a big fan of Katee Robert and Sierra Simone! Katee’s Neon Gods series is fantastic (which reminds me, I need to read the latest one still!) and I’ve read a handful of Sierra Simone’s books and I feel like you can’t go wrong there either – hope you like both of them! 🙂
I hope you like all of them!
I don’t know about Hooked, but I’m pretty sure the rest of these are all indie/self-pubbed. So you got the topic done without getting the topic done. 😉 haha! I love it! I hope you love all of these.
I want to check out Lauren Asher this year as well.
So many books on here are also on my TBR — The Fine Print, Twisted Love, Hooked. All I’m dying to dive into. I haven’t heard of a few, but thanks to you sharing, they are now added to the never-ending TBR hehe.
No although I have freebies from some of them including Devney Perry, Catherine Cowles, probably a few more.
I’ve seen that Katee Robert book around and seems like I’ve seens everal good reviews for it!
Great choice of romance authors Suzanne! I don’t know if I’ll go rogue or not…
I recently read The Fine Print. I thought it was a lot of fun. Silver and Cowles are two I would like to try as well.
I hope you enjoy all of these authors!
I hope you enjoy reading all of these when you get the opportunity.

I don’t read much romance, so I’m not familiar with any of these authors. I hope you enjoy them!
Happy TTT!

Great list! I’m hoping to read Lauren Asher and finally give Priest a read this year. Asher’s books have been super popular over the last couple of months so I’m definitely curious to see if they live up to the hype. I hope you enjoy these books! Happy reading 🙂
I haven’t read any of these authors yet, but I’m certainly having fun reading everyone’s TTT today, and adding to my TBR list!
I’ve enjoyed a couple of books by Samantha Chase. Glad you’re planning to try this new-to-you author 🙂
I love Ana Huang. I really enjoyed the Laura Asher series and the Katee Roberts one. The first book took a bit getting used to, but the ones after that have been great. Hope you enjoy them all.
I’ve only read Neon Gods but I do love that series! A lot of the others ones are also authors I want to try, like Elsie Silver, Catherine Cowles and Lauren Asher.
