Top Ten Tuesday – Books On My TBR I Predict Will Be 5-Star Reads

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.  Top Ten Tuesday has been one of my favorite memes ever since I started blogging, so huge thanks to Jana for taking over the hosting duties!

This week’s TTT topic is Books On My TBR I Predict Will Be 5-Star Reads.  This topic makes me a little nervous since it reminds me how much I’ve hyped these books in my own mind. Some, like The Queen of Nothing and The Toll, are finales for beloved series, while others like The Starless Sea, Chasing Lucky, and Ninth House are new books by favorite authors.  Fingers crossed I haven’t set unreasonable expectations for them, but anyway, as of right now, these are books I’m predicting will be 5-star reads for me.

Great list, Suzanne! Lydia Bird also made it onto my list today as well 🙂 I’m really hoping AHSFAB will end up being a five star read for me but I was too scared to put it on this list this week incase it turns out to be so far from the truth haha I do hope all of these end up being five stars for you 🙂 happy reading!

How could I forget The Two Lives of Lydia Bird?! I definitely have high hopes for that one after loving One Day in December so much. And I’ll be excited to see what you think of The Queen of Nothing. I still need to write my review. It wasn’t quite 5 stars for me but I totally enjoyed it.

My track record with Jenn Bennett is solid, so I have no doubt about that book, but I am hoping Silver dazzles me again with Lydia Bird, because her last book is a favorite of mine

Many of these look tempting, Suzanne. Starless Sea!! YES. I adored The Night Circus, so I’m really looking forward to that one. I just finished the second UNSUB (my first read of hers) and it was fantastic. Thanks for introducing me to Meg Gardiner (Not literally but you know what I mean 🙂 )

The Ten thousand Doors looks fabulous, and I read a short story by the author and was very impressed. I have high hopes for that one!

I was a little nervous reading The Toll and The Queen of Nothing. I loved the other books in the series and I mainly just didn’t want the story to end. But I loved them both very much. I hope you enjoy them as well 🙂

I hope all of these will become 5-star reads for you! I actually did rate Ninth House and Queen of Nothing 5 stars 🙂 And really excited about A Heart So Fierce and Broken, The Starless Sea and Chasing Lucky.

My current read is A Heart So Fierce And Broken! It’s better paced than the last but I feel like the characters have changed somewhat. I did love Starless Sea and Ten Thousand Doors, rating them both five stars – I hope you like them just as much!

Oh, I also predict that The Starless Sea will be five stars for me! I can’t wait to get to that one. You have some others on your list that I’m excited about, too. I hope they all turn out to be fabulous reads for you! 🙂

I think you might be on to something with a heart so fierce and broken. And I have heard a lot of good things about ninth house and the toll as well! I think I am going to give six of crows five stars whenever I finally get around to reading it – hopefully sooner rather than later.
