Top Ten Tuesday – Book Covers That Give Me Autumn Vibes
Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Top Ten Tuesday has been one of my favorite memes ever since I started blogging, so huge thanks to Jana for taking over the hosting duties!
This week’s TTT topic is Books That Give Off Autumn Vibes (Autumn scenes/colors on the cover, autumn atmosphere, etc.). Autumn is my favorite time of year. I love the crispness in the air and that it means I can pull out all of my sweaters, hoodies, and cozy socks. What I love most about autumn though are the leaves and their gradual shift from the cool greens of spring and summer to the vibrant reds, golds, and oranges of fall. I love being outside as much as possible in the fall because it’s just so beautiful. So my take on this week’s topic is to celebrate all of those glorious fall colors by sharing some book covers that feature them. The books themselves have nothing to do with fall, but look at those incredible colors…

Question: What’s your favorite thing about the fall season?
Wow! You chose some really good covers, and they are all beautiful! My favorite thing about the season would be the colors and cooler weather. Hope all is well! Hugs, RO
Thanks, hope all is well with you too!
I love this! I’m definitely getting autumn vibes from all the orange!
Thanks!
Great list! These all look so autumnal together. I love To Kill a Mockingbird, and Vicious is one I keep meaning to get to.

Such pretty colors! I love Fall – it’s definitely my favorite season. The cooler weather, and being able to get all cozy, and the colors, and the scent of the air. Fires, and socks, and blankets, and all of it!

Ooh, I forgot about fires. I love bonfires and of course the first fire of the year in our fireplace. So cozy.
Oooh those are incredible colors! That collage looks awesome and just screams fall! Great choices 😀

My favourite thing about autumn is the colours but I also love the nights getting darker earlier as it feels so much cosier when tucking up in the evenings.
Harry Potter gives me serious autumnal vibes. 🙂

Yes, I love cozy fall evenings too. 🙂
I love fall! The colors, the weather, the flavors — I am all in. Give me sweater weather! I love all these covers together, they are just like a tree changing colors, and I spy a few favorites. I adored ToG, and To Kill a Mockingbird was probably one of my favorite “required” reading books.
Same here with To Kill a Mockingbird!
You have produced a lovely display of covers here, Suzanne:). And a great selection of books – I enjoyed the Harry Potter book and The Martian – two on that list I should have read and haven’t – The Poisonwood Bible and The Beautiful and the Damned… As for the thing about autumn I most enjoy – the fact the longer we have autumn weather, the longer it takes for the cold of winter to set in. I DREAD the onset of the cold, which oppresses and overwhelms me:(.
Oh yes, I hear you on that. I hate the cold so much.
This is such a cool Top Ten!! A lot of the books are on my shelves <3

My favourite thing about fall is the beautiful covers this TTT brought out! I love these — they remind me of warm sunsets to be honest. Go figure!

I completely agree with you! 🙂
All those covers together make for one gorgeous collage! I loved The Girl Who Played with Fire. That was such a fascinating trilogy.
My favorite thing about fall is that it *finally* starts to cool off. By Florida standards, anyway. 🙂

Love this color palette! I randomly picked up “The Last Child” at a used book sale and was surprised by how much I enjoyed it – such a good mystery!

Orange is one of my favorites too. 🙂
I love autumn colours, there’s something incredibly soothing about oranges and red shades for me. It reminds me of how frequently our world changes and with change comes new opportunities. We’re into Spring here in Australia and although I love all the flowers in the garden in bloom, it gets all up in my sinuses and I end up a snivelling mess.

Oh gosh, I’m so with you when it comes to Spring. I love how beautiful it is as everything greens up and the plants and flowers come back, but my poor nose and eyes definitely suffer for it, lol.
You are so right. The books shown give me Autumn Vibes too. Some of them I know, others I don´t know. But I will check them out. Thank you for sharing all the books with us.
