Top Ten Tuesday – Some of My Recent Favorite Books Set in NYC

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.  Top Ten Tuesday has been one of my favorite memes ever since I started blogging, so huge thanks to Jana for taking over the hosting duties!

This week’s TTT topic is Books Set In X (Pick a setting and share books that are all set there. This could be a specific continent or country, a state, in outer space, underwater, on a ship or boat, at the beach, etc.).  I decided to go with my favorite city in the world, New York City, and since I’ve probably done a similar topic in the past, I decided to focus on more recent favorites.

I enjoyed In a New York Minute. Another NY based book I’d recommend is The Break Up Clause by Niamh Hargan.

I love an NYC setting! I love how Fiona Davis always picks an iconic building, and Radio City Music Hall was a great one!

  3. Samantha Kozbial

I feel like I read so many books set in NY/NYC. I was born and spent my first 14 years there, so it’s fun to recognize places. I read six of those books, and they were all big hits. I consider LL the queen of Manhattan. I feel like just about all her books are set there.

I confess that this week I was so under the water after a shocking news at work that I had no energy to participate. But you have amazing choices here!
