Top Ten Tuesday – Books on my Winter 2022-2023 To-Read List
Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Top Ten Tuesday has been one of my favorite memes ever since I started blogging, so huge thanks to Jana for taking over the hosting duties!
This week’s TTT topic is a Books on My Winter 2022-2023 To-Read List. I always say I’m going to request less ARCs and concentrate more on books I already own, but here we are again, getting ready to start another year and I already have a few dozen review books stacking up. Today I’m sharing the ten I’m most excited to dive into this winter. I think I’ve got a pretty good mix of romance, historical fiction, and thrillers to look forward to.

I was so close to the fabled 80% feedback ratio on NetGalley and I really told myself I would get there and stay above it… but nope I’ve only got a pile of very tempting 2023 releases waiting for me. They do it to us on purpose!
Haha, I think you’re right!
The Villa is one I’m really looking forward to!
Right? It sounds like such a twisty read!
I’ll be reading The Villa as well. I’m looking ahead to my winter list (which I now do as a quarterly list so not until January), and there is so much to choose from!
I’m really excited for The Villa. She writes such twisty thrillers.
I hope they’re all five-star reads for you!
Thank you! 🙂
I made a concerted effort to lay off the arcs about two years ago so I could concentrate more on books I own and backlist titles. Bets decision ever! LOL It’s hard to not be tempted by all the new releases (and I do still read new releases) but I don’t miss arcs at all. Right now I have exactly one pending and it’s a Jill Shalvis title that I’m looking forward to. I love your mix of romance, historical, and mystery/thriller!
I’ve definitely increased the number of books I own that I’ve read in the past couple of years but have not really cut back much on the numbers of ARCs I still request. I think cancelling cable TV so I have no other entertainment to distract me is the only reason I’ve been able to do both, lol.
I definitely want to continue with the Finlay Donovan books. Though sort of black humor, I love them
I’ve really enjoyed that series. Finlay and Vero are such a fun team to follow.
Great list! I have several of these on my wish list, too!
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!
Thanks! Hopefully they’ll all be great reads for us both. 🙂
I put Begin Again on my TBR for next month as well!
Emma Lord’s books are always so good. I’m excited to be starting the year off right with one of hers. 🙂
I have What Have We Done by Finlay.
I’m so excited for that one!
This is such a fun list! I need to start the Finlay Donovan books as they sound like so much fun, and also the Emily Wibberley and Austin Siegemund-Broka books. Hope you’ll enjoy all of these!
The Finlay Donovan series is such a fun one. I think you would enjoy Finlay and Vero. They’re such a fun team to follow.
The Villa is definitely one I’d be interested in, given my previous experience with her. All the Dangerous Things looks promising too.
I’m really excited for All the Dangerous Things. That author’s last book was so good!
Finlay Donovan is on my list as well!
I’m so excited for that one!
I’m excited for both of those hist-fic books as well. I especially like Jenoff’s novels. I hope you enjoy all these!
Happy TTT!

I really need to read more of Jenoff’s novels. Her last two were both 5 star reads for me.
I don’t think you can go wrong with any of these Suzanne! I especially am interested in the new Finlay Donovan book, The Love Wager, The Villa, and Exes and O’s. I hope you enjoy all of these!
I’m really excited for the new Finlay Donovan. That has turned out to be such a fun series.
You aren’t alone in wanting to read the books you own yet are still requesting review copies. I hope you enjoy reading each of these when you get the opportunity!

I have What Have We Done and All the Dangerous Things on my to read list as well. Cannot wait to read them. 🙂
I’m really excited for All the Dangerous Things. Her first book was so good!
What a great list, Suzanne. I have five of these on my TBR and I am also looking forward to getting to them. I hope you enjoy them all.
Looks like a great list. I only have the Lynn Painter on my list.
I’m super excited for Alex Finlay’s newest book!
Looks like a nice mix. I have All The Dangerous Things from BOTM that I’m stoked about. I loved her book a Flicker in the Dark this year.
