Top Ten Tuesday – Bookish Merchandise I’d Love to Own
Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Top Ten Tuesday has been one of my favorite memes ever since I started blogging, so huge thanks to Jana for taking over the hosting duties!
This week’s TTT topic is Bookish Merchandise I’d Like to Own. These kinds of topics are always fun because there’s so much great bookish merchandise out there, and I of course, want it all, lol. Here’s my most recent list of bookish items I’ve had my eye on. If you’re interested in purchasing any of these items, the pictures are all linked back to the shops that are selling them.

Bookish Merchandise I’d Love to Own
1. Bookish Statement T-Shirt
I’ve had my eye on this “Ban bigots, not books” t shirt ever since two of my county’s school board members made the national news for advocating the burning of books they didn’t like. It’s a super cute tee and the statement is very effective.

2. Funny Bookish T-Shirt
I also love funny t-shirt and this shirt featuring someone drowning under their TBR pile cracked me up, haha.

3. Bookish Tote Bags
I have an obsession with bookish tote bags and probably have a lifetime supply of them already, but I can’t resist adding to my collection whenever a cute one like this catches my eye.

4. Bookish Mugs
I’m not sure which is worse, my bookish tote obsession or my bookish mug obsession. I literally have no more room for mugs in my cabinet and that’s the only thing that has stopped me from buying this fun one.

5. Bookish Quote Postcards
These caught my eye, not because I actually mail postcards to anyone, but I thought the collection of them might be cute framed on a wall in my library/office.

6. Bookish Embroidery
If work ever slows down to the point where I don’t spend most of my free time napping, I’d love to learn how to embroider and this cute bookish beginner kit caught my eye.

7. Bookish Cross Stitch Kit
I may end up taking the lazy way out though since I at least do already know how to do cross stitch, so here’s another crafty kit I’ve been eyeing on Etsy.

8. Enamel Pins
I collect enamel pins too. I have a fabric covered decorative board in my office and I display my pins on that. I thought this one was really cute.

9. Bookish Themed Candles
This romance-themed candle is scented with rosewood, lilac, and blackberry. Doesn’t that sound like it would smell incredible? I really need to get one of these.
* * * * *
10. Bookmarks!
I still mostly use receipts for my actual bookmarks, but I do love to collect bookmarks. I don’t have many author-specific ones, but my newfound love of Colleen Hoover’s books made me zero in on this fun one, which is a bookstack of all of her novels.

I will wear bookish tshirts and d rink coffee out of a bookish my — and I am never going to go past a bookish bag! I will say I’d like a bookish phone case too.
I love the idea of a bookish phone case. I think I looked for one and got overwhelmed by all of the possibilities, lol.
I love those t-shirts!

Aren’t they great? 🙂
I am pretty much in love with all of these! You can never have too many tote bags, in my opinion! Or mugs! My weakness is probably bookmarks.
Right? And I actually use my totes too. I don’t just hoard them, lol.
Ban Bigots Not Books is such a great message for a t-shirt.
Right? I really need that shirt in my life.
I really like those postcards! There is so much great bookish merchandise out there, right?
Truly an overwhelming amount, lol.
I’m obsessed with book merch. I have candles, bookmarks, pillowcases, mugs, and more. I always love new candles though! And that first t-shirt is amazing.
I really need to get more candles. I just started using them more recently now that I’m working from home and I just find them so relaxing.
I love bookish candles and mugs! I also definitely wouldn’t say no to more bookish totes and those bookish shirts—they are awesome! Great list 🙂
Thank you! 🙂
I absolutely love everything on your list
Thanks! 🙂
I truly love bookish merch!!!!
You have such an amazing collection of bookish merch too! 🙂
I love bookish T- shirts. A timely message doesn’t hurt either! 🙂 Tote bags and mugs too. I’m a mug collector at times… lol
Candles that are book themed are neat too.
Right? I love a well-timed and pointed message. I would love to wear that one to our local school board meetings, haha.
I loved the “I’m okay” T-Shirt, it made me laugh out loud. Thanks for sharing.
It cracked me up when I saw it too. 🙂
I’m a huge bookish candle fan. I love to set the mood when I read, and candles are my go-to. Especially when the book and candle match in mood or fandom🕯😃.

I love the fandom candles too and there are so many great ones out there. 🙂
Haha, I love that you collect bookmarks but use receipts for your actual bookmarks *relatable* 🙂
I love that “Ban bigots, not books” t shirt and I could also not say not a bookish tote bag or mug.
I really need to start saying no to totes and mugs since I already have so many, but I just have no willpower when it comes to them, haha.
I love the I’m OK t-shirt! Bookish mugs are always fun too.
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!
That I’m OK shirt is so me. I may really have to get that one, lol.
I once had postcards from a museum and framed them and hung them all up together on a wall and it looked really nice. Also the CoHo bookmark is so cute!
Thanks for stopping by. I just tried to take a look at your list and keep getting an error message that your blog has been removed. 🙁
I love those Tshirts especiallythe first one, so apt these days
Right? Sad but so true.
I could get behind the cross stitch, as long as I gave them away as gifts.
If I ever get one (and actually finish it, lol), I’d probably leave it in its hoop and use it as a decoration on my bookshelves. I’ve seen a few people do that and it looks pretty cute.
I love fun bookish cross-stitch patterns! I have several of them. Have I stitched them yet? Um…I plead the fifth.
Happy TTT!

That’s totally me and once I do start one, it will probably take me a year to finish it, lol.
I’m not one for a lot of bookish merch (or any merch, really) but there are some really cute options that you shared. Love the ban bigots tee. And the postcards are so pretty. I might actually have to nab that CoHo bookmark. Love the way it’s die cut instead of just rectangular.
That was what I really liked about that one too. So creative!
I have a few candles but I’ve never used them, I also have some mugs, jewellery, art prints and socks!
I just recently really started getting into candles, I guess because I’m home more now because of remote working.
I love these and want them all, especially the “I’m Ok” shirt 😀
Right? That shirt is so me, lol.
Oh! I never thought about book-themed needlecraft before. I also may need that tote bag because that is perfectly me. If anyone needs me, I’ve fallen down an Etsy hole!
Haha, Etsy hole! I love it and it’s so true. I’m sure I stay on that site for hours just browsing through all of the fantastic items they have available.
OwlCrate sent out a beginners embroidery kit with the March box! I was so excited to learn and ended up buying two more kits to do more after! But they weren’t bookish so I may need to get that 😀 Also I love the Ban Bigots shirt! Great saying and I’m sorry you had people like that so close to home.
That’s so cool. I actually just purchased my first embroidery kit so I’m really hoping I enjoy it because if so I’m definitely going to buy the one I shared here. 🙂
