Top Ten Tuesday – 10 Books I Want to Re-Read
Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Top Ten Tuesday has been one of my favorite memes ever since I started blogging, so huge thanks to Jana for taking over the hosting duties!
This week’s TTT topic is Books I Want to Read Again. This topic is a little challenging in the sense that I don’t typically re-read many books. If I was going to re-read though, these titles would be at the top of my list. I’d mainly be interested in revisiting them to see if I have the same or a greater appreciation of them a second time around or if the magic is gone after a single reading.

I love to reread! I’ve reread The Night Circus and The Nightingale and they definitely hold up. I’ve read the Narnia series a couple times, too!
I love this whole list! Yes, they’d all be great rereads.
My post.
Flowers in the Attic would be a fun reread, I think. I was so young when I read it the first time, I’m pretty sure I’d have different feelings about it now😁
I don’t re-read much either, although I did re-read THE LION, THE WITCH, AND THE WARDROBE recently-ish. I first read it in elementary school and it was fun to revisit it as an adult.
Happy TTT!

Some great books here – and we both had Wuthering Heights and The Night Circus! Have you read The Starless Sea yet? Almost as wonderful!
I used to love rereading but since I’ve been blogging, I have so many new books to get to in a year that I don’t have the time to be rereading old ones.

I love The Night Circus. I should reread it soon! I also love Shakespeare.
As much as I loved The Nightingale, I’m not sure my heart could handle a reread. *cue all the tears*
I love rereading books, especially when I feel a reading slump coming and need something familiar to keep me on top of things! I haven’t read Anne Frank in years and I definitely should’ve added that to my list, as well as The Narnia Chronicles, which will definitely take me back to my childhood!
I love re-reading, though I do often get sidetracked by all the shiny new releases 🙂 The Night Circus would be such a nice re-read indeed!
I’d love to experience The Night Circus for the first time again. 🙂
Flowers in the Attic is one of those books I read when I was probably younger than I should have been. I would be very interested to see what I thought of it these days. I hope you get to reread these soon.
I am not a re-reader, but if I was, I could never re-read The Nightingale. That book gutted me. I was puddle. I get emotional when I talk about it.
I’d love to reread the Narnia books at some point. In fact I should do that!
What a lovely list, Narnia, the Nightnigale, some classics! I love your rereading plans basically.
Happy reading! https://readwithstefani.com/books-i-want-to-read-again/
Re-reading does give a different perspective, doesn’t it? As much as Shakespeare’s plays were not my fave in school, I wonder sometimes what I would think of its now.
Too funny seeing Flowers in the Attic on your list. I’ve been thinking a lot about that series lately, and I think I’m going to dive back into reading it.
Hi Suzanne, I always re-read books when I’m in a slump. I remember reading Flowers in the Attic when I was a teen at school. (That was before Virginia died) I loved the series but I doubt I’d ever read it now as the teenage angst and “feelings” would frustrate me.
Yeah, I’m mainly curious to see how adult-me would react to what teen-me was completely obsessed with, lol.
