Top Ten Tuesday – Most Anticipated Book Releases for the First Half of 2020
Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Top Ten Tuesday has been one of my favorite memes ever since I started blogging, so huge thanks to Jana for taking over the hosting duties!
This week’s TTT topic is Most Anticipated Book Releases for the First Half of 2020. I have so many anticipated releases for the first half of the year that it was nearly impossible to pick just ten. The ones I’ve chosen to feature this week are new releases from favorite authors, new books in some of my favorite series, and a MacBeth retelling that sounds really good.
Happy reading, everyone! I can’t wait to read all of your most anticipated lists!

Me too!
There are so many amazing releases already in the first half of this year. The Honey-Don’t List made it onto my TTT today too. I can’t wait for SJM’s new book as well and AHSFAB 😍 I hope you enjoy all of the books on this great list!

Thank you!
I’ve seen THE HONEY-DON’T LIST on a few lists today. I’ve never read anything by the author, but I’ve heard good things about her books. I hope you enjoy it and all your other picks!
Happy TTT!

Thank you!
It’s hard to only pick ten! I changed my list up a little to only include the first quarter, and I still had trouble😁 Awesome list, Shorefall is definitely one of my most anticipated books of the year😁

It really was hard to pick just 10. There are so many great books coming out.
The Honey-Don’t List is one of my picks, too. I’m really excited for a new one from Christina Lauren. And the next Becky Albertalli collab. I just love her.

I hope it will be. I usually have great luck with John Hart’s books.
I hope you love all these! I’m looking forward to Yes No Maybe So. I don’t love Albertalli’s recent books, but I’m not ready to give up on her yet.

I’ve had pretty good luck with her books so far, so I’m hoping my luck continues.
Bromance is everywhere today. I LOVE IT! I am always eager to read some Maas and CLo too. I have had only success with those authors.

Same here and I’m really hoping my lucky streak continues with these new books.
A great list! I’m looking forward to Shorefall as I really loved the previous book, despite having a few issues with it. The magic system is really cool and original, though.
I agree. I really loved the magic system.
I haven’t even read The Bromance Book Club yet and I’m excited for Undercover Bromance!
It’s such a fun series!
You Are Not Alone looks good to me- I’m hoping for some good thrillers in 2020! 🙂

I am too. Fingers crossed we get lucky!
I’m looking forward to reading the books by Lyssa Kay Adams. Kemmerer is another author I really want to try. All of your books sound good. It was hard to narrow down the list, wasn’t it? I hope you enjoy all of these when you read them! Happy Reading!

Yes, it was difficult. There are just so many great books coming out this year.
The cover for Shorefall is soooo striking! And Undercover Bromance — yeah, I want to see how this series continues — especially with those two!

Right? I’m trying to get my January ARCs finished but I really just want to skip over them and read Undercover Bromance instead.
I had Adams’ book on my list, but I should have put CL’s too. I’m excited to read that one!

AHSFAB was amazing! It was everything I wanted and more, and I cannot wait to discuss it with people!! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Foul is Fair in on my list, as well as the new Christina Lauren and Sarah J. Maas books. 🙂

I’m so glad to hear that about AHSFAB. That’s probably the read I’m most excited for. I just love the way Kemmerer writes.
I feel like I’ve said this a million times looking at everyone’s post, but leaving Crescent City off my list was a total fail on my part. I can’t wait to read it!! I’m reading A Heart So Fierce and Broken now. I still need to read The Bromance Book Club.

I’m so intrigued by House of Earth and Blood as well! I hope you get to read all of these! 🙂
Thanks, I hope so too!
The Honey-Don’t List made my list too! I was bummed when I didn’t get approved for it on Netgalley. 😉
My TTT
Awww bummer. I hope you’ll enjoy it when you are able to get a copy.
Hi Suzanne, Happy new year! These new releases for 2020 look interesting! I don’t recognize any authors but I have now added Meg Gardiner to my TBR. In fact, I’m getting one of hers from the library so I can read the book before the one that’s listed here. Thanks for sharing as I tend to fall back on old favorites. It’s so nice to get new authors in my reading mix!

Happy New Year, Lisa! I hope you enjoy Meg Gardiner’s series. I loved the first two books in the series so I’m looking forward to diving into the third soon.
A Heart sof Fierce and Broken is truly an amazing sequel and I hope you will be able to really love reading it as well! And then I am so excited for Yes No Maybe So as well ^.^ More Albertalli and Saaed please 😀
