Top Ten Tuesday – “Sum” of my Favorite Books with Numbers in their Titles
Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Top Ten Tuesday has been one of my favorite memes ever since I started blogging, so huge thanks to Jana for taking over the hosting duties!
This week’s TTT topic is Book Titles with Numbers In Them (You could really challenge yourself and do numbers 1-10 or just any numbers at all. This was one of those topics that I thought would be easy-breezy but then of course when I sat down to write the post, I forgot every title of every book I’ve ever read. (Why does that always happen?) Anyway, I eventually started to remember a few and since they were all ten and under, I decided to go the “Count from 1 to 10” route. I did cheat a bit though because even though I’m calling these favorites, there are a few I haven’t read yet. They’re by favorite authors though so close enough, lol.

Question: Have you read any of these?
Very ool the way you did this list Suzanne! I had never heard of Ruth Ware until this year, and have read 2 of her books. Her work is so thrilling! Hugs and Happy Tuesday! RO
Thanks! I haven’t read all of Ware’s books yet but I’ve really enjoyed the ones I’ve tried so far.
Hehehehe “sum”. I giggled when I saw that. Janet Evanonvich kinda belongs on my list too — she one of those authors I always meant to start and then I see her backlist and gooo: where do I even begin?!
LOL! I was hoping someone would notice my attempt at math humor. 🙂
LOL I thought this topic was so hard, so I skipped it! But I’ve actually read most of the books on your list!
It was definitely more challenging than I thought it would be.
Okay, I seriously adore the cover for Five Feet Apart. Lovely!
My TTT.
I love that one too!
Great list! I found this extremely easy to do, it was just a matter of going through my “read” books on Goodreads. Also I couldn’t stop at 10😁
Oh, that was a much smarter way to do it than I did, which was to wander around looking at my bookshelves for numbers, lol.
Great list! The minute I read the prompt my mind completely blanked out on me as well. Thank goodness for the power of Goodreads because otherwise, I would’ve struggled even harder to fill this list in! Haha I haven’t read the majority of these but loved Evelyn Hugo and SoC 🙂
My TTT post
Evelyn Hugo is so good!
So clever and a lot of great books there!
Thanks!
Ah, I’m impressed by every person that has managed to go the one through ten route, haha! This was a really fun topic. I’m really hoping to read Nine Perfect Strangers and The Woman in Cabin 10 in the near future.
I hope you enjoy them when you read them. 🙂
I haven’t read these but there are several that is love to get my hands on. Great list!
Thanks!
Great list! Six of Crows made my list this week, too, and I really want to read The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. It’s about time I read Two Can Keep a Secret as well because I really enjoyed One of Us is Lying, and I’d like to check out some of Ruth Ware’s work this autumn.
Thanks!Thanks!
The Women’s Murder Club series is my favorite James Patterson series. Love the Plum books, too!
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!
The Plum books are so much fun!
Yes to Three Dark Crowns! That series is so fun. 🙂
Two Can Keep A Secret was great too.
Right? I love McManus’ books.
I’ve read Four to Score and Nine Perfect Strangers. I liked Four, I didn’t like Nine. Great job finding a title for each that didn’t all come from the One for the Money series 😂😂
It was very tempting just to use all of the One for the Money series, lol.
I’ve only read one from your list – The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. Which I loved. I’m impressed that you managed to do 1-10. That was my original plan but I was determined to use only books I’ve read so that made it trickier.
Yeah, I think I could have eventually come up with 1-10 that I had actually read but it might have taken me weeks to do it, lol.
I struggled with this too but looking at peoples lists I’m like, “Of COURSE! How could I have forgotten that one?!” lol.
I’m seeing Six of Crows and Evelyn Hugo on lots of lists. I still haven’t read them but I own Evelyn Hugo so I’ll definitely be reading that one… And most probably Six of Crows as I want to know what the fuss is all about with that series!
Right? That’s the way I’ve been with almost every list I’ve read, haha.
I can’t believe that you found a book that you liked for every number!
Your whole top 3 is on my TBR. I have no idea when I’ll get to them.
Hope you enjoy them when you get to read them!
Great list! I almost used a Stephanie Plum book as well. Love that series! I didn’t love Evelyn Hugo, but I think I was very much in the minority.
Here’s my TTT!
The Stephanie Plum series is so much fun!
I keep forgetting to add Five Feet Apart to Goodreads. Thank you for reminding me. 👍✨
You’re welcome!
I see some faves of mine on your list. I am mostly excited to see One Plus One pop up so much. That book was so good, and all everyone ever talks about is Me Before You, which I liked, but I liked OPO more.
I loved OPO too.
Two Can Keep a Secret and Nine Perfect Strangers made my list as well, and I really liked both of them! I’ve only read one TJR so far (Daisy Jones and the Six), but this one is on my TBR, along with Five Feet Apart. I’m curious to see the movie as well, but obviously have to read the book first!
I need to see the film too. Hoping it’s a good one.
