Top Ten Tuesday: Top 10 Books On My Winter Reading List

top ten tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is a fun weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. This week’s topic is Top Ten Books On My Winter TBR List, which gives us all a chance to share what we’re planning to read for the next few months.

* * * * *

It’s always hard for me to put together a definitive list because I’m such a mood reader and what I’m keen on reading seems to change from minute to minute.  That said, here’s my tentative reading list for the upcoming winter months.  I may also try to squeeze in a few titles off my backlist that I kept neglecting like Dark Matter, Nevernight, and The Raven Boys, but the ARCs and recent releases below are high on my priority list.

    Ooo so many good ones! I LOVED Speak Easy, Speak Love so I hope you do as well! I read The Wife Between Us a couple of weeks ago, and thought it was fantastic. All the twists and turns kept me up way past my bedtime reading, but the sleepiness the next morning was so worth it. Happy reading!

    I’m a bit of a mood reader as well, but my reading is also dependent on what I can get from my library at any time. I was pretty good about reading most of my fall TBR, so hopefully I can do the same for my winter TBR!

    The Immortalists is on my overall TBR – the concept is really cool but maybe also a bit unsettling? I look forward to hearing your thoughts on it!

    Hazel Wood keeps showing up in my feeds and it’s making me curious. Now seeing it on your TBR makes me even MORE curious so I should check it out some more because – you know, I need more books on my TBR (yeah right!).

    I don’t know if I could actually narrow my very next books down to 10…. So well done on the list!!!

      It was easy to narrow down to 10 books but who knows if I’ll actually read these 10 first or not since I’m such a mood reader, lol.

      Yes, they really are. I try to make myself read my ARCs even if I’m not in the mood so that I don’t fall behind schedule, but the rest of my books are a totally different story, lol.

    Ooh, I’m reading The Hazel Wood right now and I’m really enjoying it! I hope you get a chance to read it. 🙂 I’ve had a copy of The Wife Between Us lying around for a while, so maybe I should pick that one up also. I’m super intrigued by Rachel Caine’s new book as well! This looks like a great TBR, I hope you get to read and love all of these!

    These are some really great books you have coming up to read. The Wife Between Us is really good, I enjoyed it and I hope you do too. I haven’t had a chance to The Immortalist, but from the blurb it sounds like it will be a good one too. I am curious about Honor Among Thieves, so I am looking forward to your thoughts on it.

    I’m totally a mood reader too. I think The Wife Between Us looks like a good thriller, and I’m thinking of trying Turtles All The Way Down. I’ve never read a John Green…

      Suzanne says:

      I’ve read a few John Green novels and have always had good luck with them. I’m hoping for the same luck when it comes to Turtles, even though I have seen a few mixed reviews on it.

    We have two in common (Jane Sinner, Quite Kind of Thunder). I hope we both like them. I am starting Turtles soon. It’s been too long since I read a JG book! Speak Easy was fabulous! I hope you like it as much as I did.

      Suzanne says:

      I’ve seen a few mixed reviews on Turtles so I’m definitely curious to see where I fall on the spectrum. I’m really hoping I’ll enjoy it since I’ve loved all of his other books.
