Top Ten Tuesday – Top 10 Book Covers That Make Me Think of Fall
Top Ten Tuesday is a fun weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. This week’s topic is Ten Books With Fall/Autumn Covers/Themes (If the cover screams fall to you, or the books give off a feeling of being Fallish). I feel like I kind of lamed out on this topic because I completely drew a blank about all things Fall as soon as I read it. I’m sure once I see what everyone else has done with it, I’ll feel like a fool, haha. Since my brain just wouldn’t work, I decided to just focus on book covers that remind me of fall because of their color schemes, since those red, orange, and gold earthy tones are what I most associate with fall. The books themselves have little or nothing to do with fall; it’s all about the colors!

Hey, Winter is coming! Fall comes before winter so I’m kind of on topic with this one, right? (Ssshhhh, just let me have my moment, lol)

I had so little luck with this topic, I skipped it. 😆 But I like that you went with fall colors. I definitely get the autumnal vibe with the oranges and reds. I bandied about a few ideas: books with the word “fall” in the title or books where the characters fall into something (love, despair, etc). I like to cull from the list of books I read, and I couldn’t make it work. So, good job!
I’m glad to hear it wasn’t just me who struggled with this topic, haha!
Definitely yes to Behold the Dreamers and Love in the time of Cholera
Such great books too.
You went the same route I did. I always think of those colors in relation to fall. Great picks for covers!!
Thanks!
Ah, you have so many great ones here! I love all the red and orange, it definitely says fall!
Thanks!
I didn’t think to try and find fall themed books either, I just went for leaves on the covers mostly!
I’m glad I’m not the only one who struggled a bit with this week’s topic. Can’t wait to see what you came up with. I was going to do leaves too, but could only think of 2 covers, lol.
I like the fall covers! I think that’s how I would have gone with it too. LOL

Haha, glad I’m not alone in my thinking!
The covers on all these books are beautiful and definitely giving me an autumn vibe! I’ve wanted to read Homegoing and A Clockwork Orange for a while but still haven’t managed to get round to them (yet). And any list with a Game of Thrones mention is a winner!
I really enjoyed Homegoing when I read it so I hope you do too.
Great color palate for your picks! 🙂

Thanks!
You picked such beautiful covers. I love Marquez an Nicholas Sparks too. Great list!
Thanks!
I struggled with this topic also! Glad to see I wasn’t the only one, haha. I love your fall colors choice, though — they’re all so lovely and definitely do make me think of fall with those colors. 🙂 Homegoing looks particularly perfect for this theme. Love your choices!
Yeah, it surprised me how challenging this week’s topic was. Homegoing is a great read too. One of my favorites from last year.
I love the colors and yes they scream autumn leave 🙂
Thanks! 🙂
Nice list! Love the colors. My favorites here might be The Girl Who Played With Fire and A Feast for Crwos, and The Invention of Wings is nice too.
Thanks!
I love orange covers, they are super pretty
Me too!
These are great choices! I always find this prompt to be difficult. I guess I don’t read many fall-inspired books. But all of these covers are spot-on!
Thanks, I found this topic to be surprisingly difficult.
