Top Ten Tuesday – Everything’s Coming Up Roses – 10 Books with Rose in the Title
Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Top Ten Tuesday has been one of my favorite memes ever since I started blogging, so huge thanks to Jana for taking over the hosting duties!
This week’s TTT topic is May Flowers — Pick your own title for this one to reflect the direction you choose to go with this prompt (books with flowers on the cover, flower names in the title, characters whose names are flower names, stories involving flowers/gardeners). I’ve done lots of posts with florals on covers so I decided to try to find as many books with the word “Rose” in the title just to try something different. Below is what I came up with. Can you think of any others with rose in the title?

5. THE ROSE GARDEN by Susanna Kearsley
6. THE NAME OF THE ROSE by Umberto Eco

Great list! Leila Meacham has a series called Roses, which is also the name of the second book.
Great twist! I loved Under Rose-Tinted Skies. It’s so sad Gornoll never got to write more books.
It really is sad. She was so talented.
There are quite a few books with Rose in the title. I even have one in my post today (and it has a rose on the cover too😁) Love this list!
Oh boy, going with one flower made this harder on yourself. Go you! 🙂 Seeing ACOTAR reminds me that I need to get caught up with the series. I’m behind one book.
One of these days I really should read Concrete Rose.
Here is my Top Ten Tuesday.
Love the theme you came up with for this week’s TTT. So clever! And who knew there were so many rose titles?
The Rose Garden looks lovely.
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday.
I like how you chose a flower, and that they are all different genre
This is a nice spin on today’s topic!
Without searching my Goodreads, the only two titles I can come up with are The Rose Code and Concrete Rose, and you have both of these on your list.

So many books with Rose on the title! It’s my first time seeing Concrete Rose and I’m definitely intrigued. I’ve been saying I was going to read an Angie Thomas book for years!
I did books with the names of flowers in their titles this week as well and “rose” was by far the most common one I found. I used WHITE ROSE by Kip Wilson in mine.
Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!
