Top Ten Tuesday – Completed Series I Wish Had More Books
Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Top Ten Tuesday has been one of my favorite memes ever since I started blogging, so huge thanks to Jana for taking over the hosting duties!
This week’s TTT topic is Completed Series I Wish Had More Books. I actually struggled with this topic a bit, mainly because in my mind, if an author is still alive and writing, I always have a hope that the series they’ve written could eventually have more books. I selected some favorites that I am assuming are finished, but I was lazy and didn’t research, so my bad if it has already been announced that more books are forthcoming and I missed it (or heard about and forgot, haha).
(Possibly) Completed Series I Wish Had More Books
1. PEACHTREE BLUFF SERIES by Kristy Woodson Harvey
2. SIX OF CROWS DUOLOGY by Leigh Bardugo
3. THE LUNAR CHRONICLES BY MARISSA MEYER
4. THE BROWN SISTERS by Talia Hibbert
5. THE WINTERNIGHT TRILOGY by Katherine Arden
6. RED WINTER TRILOGY by Annette Marie
7. STALKING JACK THE RIPPER SERIES by Kerri Maniscalco
8. THE ILLUMINAE FILES by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff
9. SHADES OF MAGIC by V.E. Schwab
10. ARC OF A SCYTHE by Neal Shusterman

I ADORED the Winternight Trilogy! Loved the mythical creatures, loved the setting, love the Winter King and Vasya! Definitely worth more in that world!
These are the series that I wish we could get more of!
That’s a series that definitely deserves more love!
I hope you get more instalments in all of these series soon!
Thanks, me too!
I swear I read somewhere that Schwab is working on a 4th Darker Shade of Magic book! That’s one reason I wasn’t feeling this prompt, it’s so hard to know if it’s really the end or not😁
I think you’re right about Schwab. I really hope so!
I’m so surprised that I haven’t read any of the series you shared! The Lunar Chronicles was on my TBR for years but I finally realized that I had lost interest. That happens far too often. LOL
Right? Same here.
I’ve seen The Lunar Chronicles on a few lists. I want to start reading this series at some point!
Have a great week!

It’s a fun one. 🙂
I agree with the Lunar Chronicles and Six of Crows.
I really hope we get more. I’d even settle for novellas at this point.
I still need to read The Winternight Trilogy but it’s high up on the list of books I’m hoping to finally read this year. I also wish that Illuminae and ADSOM had more books or at least spin-offs because I love the worlds! I still need to finish The Brown Sisters series but ugh, I just want more books from Talia Hibbert, period. Haha 😂
I hope you enjoy The Winternight Trilogy when you read it. I loved it so much that I’m planning to re-read it at some point.
Awww, I love that your hope springs eternal! You really never know what an author might do. I’ve been surprised several times when an author decides to revive a series I thought was dead. I’ll keep my fingers crossed that this happens for you and your favorite series 🙂
Happy TTT!

Thank you! 🙂
Great choices! I’ve read half of these and want to read some of the others.
Thanks!
I love the Shades of Magic books, and yes there are going to be more! VE Schwab announced a new Shades of Magic series a while back, it’s called Threads Of Power and the first book in the trilogy will be out next year. I think Leigh Bardugo said she is going to do another Six of Crows book as well, but it will probably be a long wait-I also want another Six of Crows because the end to Crooked Kingdom was very open. I still need to finish the rest of the Scythe series, I’ve only read the first book!
So great to hear about Schwab and Bardugo!
Six of Crows and SJTR are on my list too! But I should have thought of Red Winter!
I almost forgot about that one too. I just loved the world it was set in so much.
They are doing a Brown Sisters spinoff, so that’s like more books. I believe I saw something about a third SOC book too.
I hadn’t heard about a spinoff for the Brown Sisters so that news makes my day. 🙂
I struggled with this topic as well so I went rogue! I am not one to finish a series and wish for more, it is really rare.
It was definitely a challenging topic this week.
I really enjoyed the Illuminae files and would definitely read more of those. LOVED Gemina so much! I know Six of crows would be a popular series too! 🙂
Gemina was my favorite from the series too.
Awww! Thank you for including Peachtree Bluff! I have to say… I’d like more in that series too 🙂 So, fingers crossed! xoxo
My fingers are definitely crossed. Thanks so much for visiting my blog, Kristy! ♥
Red Winter made my list too, and I would also love more books for The Lunar Chronicles or Six of Crows! I still need to finish the Stalking Jack the Ripper series, but I can definitely see this as a long-running series with a new mystery to solve each book!
Love Shades of Magic and the Lunar Chronicles! I’ve read the first few of Jack the Ripper, but I want to re-read 2 and 3 (i’ve re-read the first already) so I can finally read the final book!
Loved the Lunar Chronicles series, I’d definitely read more of it! 🙂
So many thank you’s!!! xoxo
