Top Ten Tuesday – Books On My Summer 2022 To-Read List
Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Top Ten Tuesday has been one of my favorite memes ever since I started blogging, so huge thanks to Jana for taking over the hosting duties!
This week’s TTT topic is Books On My Summer 2022 To-Read List. I have way more than ten I’m hoping to get to this summer, but today I’ll share some of my highest priority reads, both new releases and books I own and have been hanging on to for a while. I’ve got a few romances, one fantasy, one thriller, and even one science fiction. We’ll see if my inner mood reader cooperates and lets me read anything beyond the romances, lol.

I’m so excited for Love on the Brain! I also really want to pick up The Bodyguard, but I think I might wait until its Summer here again.
Love on the Brain is the one I’m most excited about from this list. 🙂
I’m looking forward to reading The Bodyguard this summer. I also plan to read Lost and Found in Paris during Paris in July.
I’m excited for The Bodyguard. I really enjoy Center’s books.
Really looking forward to Love on the Brain!
Me too!
The Hotel Nantucket is one I’m really looking forward to, as well as Upgrade! Happy summer reading!
Thanks, you too! 🙂
Great list! Every Summer After and Love on the Brain are two titles I’m very highly anticipating! I’m also really keen to check out Center’s The Bodyguard. I hope you enjoy all these books 😍
Thank you!
I’ve already read Upgrade and it was just as fast and fun as I expected. And summer seems like a good time to tackle Empire of the Vampire! I still need to get to it…one of these days😁
Right? I really need to get Empire off my TBR shelf. That brick is taking up entirely too much room, haha.
Love on the Brain has popped up on a few different lists this week. I hope you like it!
Thank you!
Us Against You sounds like an interesting read.
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday.
I hope it will be. 🙂
I’ve bought Us Against You just the other week, loved Bear Town. It appears as if everyone wants to read Love on the Brain. I haven’t read anything by Ali Hazelwood yet, but think I need to start.
Happy TTT!
Elza Reads
Her debut was one of my favorite reads last year so I’m very excited for Love on the Brain.
I hope you enjoy all of these.
Thank you!
Us Against You was good.
Glad to hear it!
I’ve yet to try anything from Center but I have seen so many raves for The Bodyguard. I can wait to see what you think of Ugly Love.
Ugly Love was so good!
I put both The Bodyguard and Love on the Brain on my TTT list this week, too. I can’t wait to read them! 😀
Hopefully we’ll both love them. 🙂
I’ve seen Ugrade on a few lists now

I think it’s going to be a pretty popular summer read. 🙂
Great list! Get ready for some ugly tears with Ugly Love💜
Yes! I just finished it a couple of days ago and cried so hard for Miles.
Every Summer After looks so tempting…but also suspiciously like it might resemble Katie Cotugno’s 99 Days, and that is not a plot I can go through again.
I haven’t read 99 Days so I’m not sure how similar they are.
Upgrade should be be high on my list too since I’ve really been loving his last few books. Dark Matter especially.
I loved Dark Matter and Recursion so I’m really hoping to have similar luck with this new one.
I’ve read the Katherine Center and Ruth Ware books already and am planning to read the Ali Hazelwood.
I hope you enjoy it. 🙂
I enjoyed THE IT GIRL. It’s not my favorite of Ware’s books, but I still really liked it. I’m also looking forward to the new Crouch book. One of these days, I really need to read Hazelwood and catch up on Center’s books. *Sigh* So many books, so little time…Enjoy your summer reading!
Happy TTT!

I’m glad to hear The It Girl is good. I haven’t seen any reviews for it yet.
The Bodyguard has been a very popular choice this week, and I also have it on my list. I hope you enjoy each of these when you get the opportunity to read them.

Thank you!
Looks like we have some books in common *smile* Happy reading.
Thank you!
This is a great list! Backman is always a good idea, and I gave high marks to the Hoover, Center, Fortune, and Jimenez books as well. I guess I may be reading the Hazelwood book this summer too. It is my dearest wish that all are big hits for you
I actually just finished the Hoover book a couple of days ago. Man, that woman knows how to write a heartbreaker, lol. Poor Miles.
Great list! I see some I didn’t add to mine but plan on reading too, like the new Ali Hazelwood and Blake Crouch. I read Every Summer After and really liked it.
Glad to hear you enjoyed Every Summer After. 🙂
I am planning to read The Bodyguard soon too! I hope we both enjoy it. Happy reading!
Thank you!
Love on the Brain made my list too! The Bodyguard also sounds so good. Hope you’ll enjoy all of these!
Thank you!
NIce list, Suzanne. I loved The Bodyguard and Us Against Them. I have a few of these books on my TBR for this summer, but not sure if I will get to them. Enjoy all of these.
I’m so excited for The Bodyguard. I just love Center’s books.
Yessss, I’m dying to read The It Girl! I love Ruth Ware’s books.
Me too!
I’ve heard good things about Upgrade and Every Summer after, but haven’t added them to my hold list at the library yet! I read the Happily Ever After Playlist first so I know I wouldn’t able to read the friend zone without crying a lot – so as much as I love her books I’m not going to read that one!
Hope you are having a good week 🙂
Thanks for stopping by!
I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on Empire of the Vampire!
I really hope I can finally get it read this summer!
Love on the Brain and Every Summer After are on my summer list too!
I hope we’ll both love them!
I am seeing only good things on Every Summer After on Instagram and it’s making me so curious! I hope you will love it.
Thanks, I hope so too. 🙂
