Top Ten Tuesday: Books I’m Planning to Read this Fall
Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Top Ten Tuesday has been one of my favorite memes ever since I started blogging, so huge thanks to Jana for taking over the hosting duties!
This week’s TTT topic is Books On My Fall 2019 TBR. As you’ll be able to tell from my list, I’m planning to read a variety of ARCs and older books. The older books I’m reading are a mix of authors I’ve been wanting to try as well as several that will also work for my retellings challenge. Fingers crossed I can stick with this list, especially since it’s more than 10.

I hope it is. I’ve heard so many good things about it.
I think The Bromance Book Club looks like great fun. I also like the look of Bodies in the Library. Enjoy!
Thank you!
I want to read Bromance!! I’ve been intrigued by The Wrath since it first came out. And The Bodies in the Library sounds cool! Enjoy your reads! Hopefully you read them all 🙂
Thanks! I really hope I can get to them all too.
Really nice slate of titles you’ve got coming up, Suzanne! I’m hoping for Twice in a Blue Moon and I already have The Grace Year scheduled. Enjoy!
Thank you!
I really enjoyed First & Then and The Wrath & The Dawn. I actually won a copy of The Bromance Book Club from Goodreads, so I’ll be reading that one, too!
Oh cool! Hopefully we’ll both love it.
Interesting list! I’ve been meaning to check out Jay Kristoff’s trilogy but haven’t so far; it sounds really interesting. Happy reading!
My TTT
Thanks! Happy reading to you too!
I’ve just preordered The Grace Year, and I’m excited to read it. Looks like you have lots of fun reads ahead!
Thanks, I really hope so! 🙂
I’m curious about The Bromance Book Club. Looks fun. I also need to read Godsgrave! Just added The Bodies in the Library to my wish list.

I’ve been putting off Godsgrave forever. I don’t even know why, lol.
Ooh, The Wrath & the Dawn does look good!
My TTT.
I really hope it is. I’ve heard good things.
I’m currently reading Cilka’s Journey, after recently reading The Tattooist of Auschwitz. I’ll need something light and fun to read after this, I think.
My TTT
Oh yeah, I think you do too. I still need to read The Tattoist of Auschwitz.
All of these books seem like so much fun and I look forward to hearing your thoughts.
Thanks! I’m really hoping they’ll all be great reads.
Ack! How did I forget The Family Upstairs?! Definitely want to read that one by the end of the year. I have The Bromance Book Club and Twice in a Blue Moon on my list, too. I have such high hopes for both of those.
I have really high hopes too!
I hope you love TDOTPK and Godsgrave!!! I loved them both <3 For my fall TBR I want to re-read Nevernight and Godsgrave before starting Darkdawn 😀
Thanks, I hope I do as well. 🙂
THE FAMILY UPSTAIRS is on my list today, too. It sounds so good! I hope we both enjoy it 🙂
Happy TTT!

Thanks, I hope so too!
What a nice eclectic list! I enjoy seeing TTT lists that aren’t all one genre. The Bodies in the Library is on my TBR list, too, though it didn’t make my TTT list this week.
The Bodies in the Library sounds like it should be a good read. I hope so anyway. 🙂
I feel good about Bromance. It seems to be getting a lot of good buzz, and that has me excited. I am reading the new CLo at some point as well. I have seen mixed reviews, but people were mixed on the past few, and they all worked for me. I loved Pirate King and TWatD. Both were so good! I hope to read First & Then before the end of the year. It’s the only Emma Mills book I have not read, though, it is the only one I actually bought.
First & Then will be my first Emma Mills book so I’m pretty excited about it.
Great list! Emma Mills is always fantastic and Daughter of the Pirate King was so much fun. Happy reading!
This will be my first time reading Emma Mills so I’m pretty excited!
Ooh yes, this is a great list! There are some favourites on here like Godsgrave and The Grace Year! I’m also really keen to check out the Bromance Book Club (sounds so cute!) and Twice In A Blue Moon (I love CLo) 😍 Hope you enjoy all these reads!
Thank you!
I am so loving The Bromance Book Club blurb! I cannot wait for that one!
I think it’s going to be such a fun read!
I am so excited you’re reading Slightly South of Simple! Thank you! ❤️❤️ I hope you enjoy. xo Kristy
Thank you! I’m so excited to finally be reading that one. I’ve heard so many great things about the series.
I so loved The Wrath and the Dawn!!!
I just started it this afternoon and am already halfway through it. It’s so good!
I’m so terrible about following lists. I wanted to do a Fall TBR list just the same, but haven’t gotten around to it. It’s probably best if I let the thought go. LOL Several of the titles on your list are ones I would like to read. Most of them, actually! I hope you are able to read them all as you hope–and enjoy them!
I’m usually pretty awful about sticking with lists too, especially when it comes to my backlist books. Hopefully I’ll do better with this one.
Good luck with reading all the books of your list… The Family Upstairs recently made its way onto my wishlist.
Happy reading this autumn!
Thank you!
Great list! Jay Kristoff and Annette Marie are both authors I need to check out.
This will be my first Annette Marie read, but I really love Kristoff’s books.
The Wrath and the Dawn was an amazing book! Highly recommend!!!
xo Rosie
I’m reading it right now and it’s fantastic!
