Top Ten Tuesday: Books I’m Planning to Read this Fall

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.  Top Ten Tuesday has been one of my favorite memes ever since I started blogging, so huge thanks to Jana for taking over the hosting duties!

This week’s TTT topic is Books On My Fall 2019 TBR.  As you’ll be able to tell from my list, I’m planning to read a variety of ARCs and older books.  The older books I’m reading are a mix of authors I’ve been wanting to try as well as several that will also work for my retellings challenge.  Fingers crossed I can stick with this list, especially since it’s more than 10.

I really enjoyed First & Then and The Wrath & The Dawn. I actually won a copy of The Bromance Book Club from Goodreads, so I’ll be reading that one, too!

I’m currently reading Cilka’s Journey, after recently reading The Tattooist of Auschwitz. I’ll need something light and fun to read after this, I think.

Ack! How did I forget The Family Upstairs?! Definitely want to read that one by the end of the year. I have The Bromance Book Club and Twice in a Blue Moon on my list, too. I have such high hopes for both of those.

I hope you love TDOTPK and Godsgrave!!! I loved them both <3 For my fall TBR I want to re-read Nevernight and Godsgrave before starting Darkdawn 😀

I feel good about Bromance. It seems to be getting a lot of good buzz, and that has me excited. I am reading the new CLo at some point as well. I have seen mixed reviews, but people were mixed on the past few, and they all worked for me. I loved Pirate King and TWatD. Both were so good! I hope to read First & Then before the end of the year. It’s the only Emma Mills book I have not read, though, it is the only one I actually bought.

Great list! Emma Mills is always fantastic and Daughter of the Pirate King was so much fun. Happy reading!

Ooh yes, this is a great list! There are some favourites on here like Godsgrave and The Grace Year! I’m also really keen to check out the Bromance Book Club (sounds so cute!) and Twice In A Blue Moon (I love CLo) 😍 Hope you enjoy all these reads!

I’m so terrible about following lists. I wanted to do a Fall TBR list just the same, but haven’t gotten around to it. It’s probably best if I let the thought go. LOL Several of the titles on your list are ones I would like to read. Most of them, actually! I hope you are able to read them all as you hope–and enjoy them!

I’m usually pretty awful about sticking with lists too, especially when it comes to my backlist books. Hopefully I’ll do better with this one.
