Top Ten Tuesday is a fun weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. This week’s topic is Holiday Gift Guide freebie (ten books to buy the YA lover in your life, 10 books to buy for your dad, etc.)
Since I’ve been busy with Black Friday and Cyber Monday, shopping and gift ideas are really on my mind right now so this week’s Top Ten Tuesday topic is very timely. I couldn’t decide on a list of books to suggest so instead I decided to go with bookish-themed gift ideas for all book lovers. We bookworms love to curl up with a good book and read for hours, so anything that furthers our comfort so that we can read longer is always a winner. You can find pilows and even blankets that are book-themed. I loved the simplicity of this one.

A gift card to a bookstore is guess what? A reason for a book lover to visit the bookstore! Not that we need another reason, but hell, we’ll take it! Amazon is great since you can get more bang for your buck there when it comes to books, but a lot of us love to support our Indie Bookstores too so keep those in mind as well.

Great list! I would love to receive pretty much any item from this list 🙂 I think that, maybe other than the jewelry, men may still enjoy these items, such as mugs or cases, but they would perhaps prefer more “manly” designs. Not sure though, it is a good point that you raised!

All the gifts. I lose bookmarks way too often. I’m using a business card at the moment. I love the tote bag too. And gift cards are always a win. I get one every Christmas which is spent by day’s end.
Same here on the gift cards, although I’m super impressed with myself that I’ve actually had one since my birthday that I haven’t spent yet. It’s taking all of my willpower 🙂
I have one from my birthday that has maybe $2 on it. I’ve been using it mostly on ebooks.

Haha, same here! Until I really started looking around, I had no idea just how many amazing bookish items there are out there.
I like a good bookmark, and mugs are my Kryptonite too as I like to buy a “souvenir” mug ha ha anywhere i go. Bookish mugs work too. Gift cards of course are awesome, and I do like some of the bookish candles I’ve seen (especially the Lord of the Rings ones I’ve seen somewhere).
Ooh, I’ve not seen Lord of the Rings candles before, but those sound like they would be cool!
