Top Ten Tuesday – Life’s a Beach: 10 of My Favorite Summery Book Covers
Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Top Ten Tuesday has been one of my favorite memes ever since I started blogging, so huge thanks to Jana for taking over the hosting duties!
This week’s TTT topic is actually supposed to be Book Titles That Are Questions, but I just wasn’t feeling it. Honestly, I did peruse my shelves and Googled a bit but couldn’t find any books I had actually read aside from Mr. Brown Can Moo, Can You? and Are You There God, It’s Me Margaret? Since that topic was obviously a bust for me, I decided to go rogue and share some of my recent favorite summery book covers.

I love summery covers, they make me want to go on vacation! I’m reading Malibu Rising right now and I’m kind of obsessed with the cover!
I hope you’re enjoying Malibu Rising!
Malibu Rising has a great cover.
I agree. It’s so pretty. 🙂
I thought this was a weird topic too, and I only found one book on my shelf, lol. But I do love these covers, all the ocean scenes make me so happy!
Me too. I love covers that feature water.
All of these books are making me crave a beach vacation. 🙂
Me too. 🙂
I had to stop at eight, and I had to dig deep for those! 🙂
Great picks for summery covers! I really enjoyed Malibu Rising, That Summer, and The Bookstore on the Beach.
Malibu Rising was such an interesting story. So many layers.
I liked People We Meet on Vacation’s cover when I first saw it, but I liked it even more after meeting those people on the cover. It really did a nice job capturing them. I love Shipped too. I feel like I am back on the cruise with that couple.
I agree about People We Meet on Vacation’s cover. It just fits perfectly.
I love all these colours, think the Malibu Rising one is my favourite!
I really love that one too.
I had the same problem with today’s topic! Only one title came readily to mind and I just didn’t feel like Googling any more, so yeah…yay for going rogue. This topic is more fun anyway. I haven’t read any of these, but most of them are on my TBR mountain chain somewhere. You gotta love a good summery read.
Happy TTT!

I agree and these are all really good ones. 🙂
I love these book covers. And the colors all go together so well! Fun rogue choice for this week’s TTT. 🙂
Thanks! 🙂
I can’t wait to read Malibu Rising.
Here’s my TTT list.
I read it not too long ago and really enjoyed it.
I love the topic you chose instead, I thought todays theme was a little difficult (so I skipped it personally) but love the summery covers, perfect for July!
Thanks! 🙂
Every single one of these are on my shelf💜
I hope you enjoy them all. 🙂
Love summery, beachy covers! Those Emily Henry covers are some of my favorites and Malibu Rising’s so pretty too!
I love those Emily Henry covers too. They’re so cute.
I love summery book covers! Shipped is fun, and I like the TJR one as well. And I agree. This weeks topic was tough and I skipped it.
I do too. There’s just something about covers with water on them that appeals to me.
Malibu Rising is definitely on my summer TBR! This is my TTT, although I found this a really tough topic!
I hope you enjoy Malibu Rising when you read it. 🙂
I love summer covers but missed to do that TTT. The last few days have been crazy ones. Thank you for sharing the covers with us, some of them might land on my wishlist. Happy reading.
Happy reading to you too! 🙂
I love summery book covers – they make me think of vacation!
Same here. They make me long for a nice long beach weekend.
Some very colourful covers here! I also went rogue this week, though still stuck within the title realm because the question topic honestly had me stumped.
It was definitely a challenging one this week.
All very good choices! Wait for It has me wanting to float in a pool right now.
Right? Me too!
I think you absolutely nailed it! And you have a strong peach/teal theme going on Suzanne!
Thanks Sophie! 🙂
