Top Ten Tuesday – Book Titles That Would Make Great Song Titles
Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Top Ten Tuesday has been one of my favorite memes ever since I started blogging, so huge thanks to Jana for taking over the hosting duties!
This week’s TTT topic is Book Titles That Would Make Great Song Titles. I love music almost as much as I love books so topics like this are always a lot of fun for me. I mostly listen to pop and rock music so it’s safe to say that when I’m imagining my choices below as songs, I’m imagining them as being sung by someone like Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Lizzo, Billie Eilish, or maybe P!nk.

This is kind of a hard topic, but I think P.S. I Still Love You would make a great pop song title!
Thanks!
Great choices, Suzanne💜
Thank you!
Monday’s Not Coming would make a great song title.
My post.
Thanks! I was imagining it as a Tori Amos song.
Great list! I thought this topic was so much fun because I can see so many book titles being great songs — all of the ones on your list included. Definitely some great pop tunes in these titles 😉
Thanks!
I love these! Lots of contemporary romance on your list, which makes sense😁
Thanks!
I can hear One Day in December so clearly. Famous in a Small Town gives me a country feel (as well it should)
I could easily imagine Famous in a Small Town as a country song. 🙂
PS I Still Love You sounds like it would make an amazing Taylor Swift song! I also love Chasing Lucky and Yes No Maybe So (which made my list as well)!
Right? I was totally picturing P.S. I Love You as a T Swift song.
I’d listen to One Of Us Is Lying. I’d definitely want to know the story in that song.
Right? I was imagining that one as a Billie Eilish song.
Yes No Maybe So would make for a bop!! It’s such a fun title. 🙂
Right? I love that one!
I had fun with this week’s topic. Great picks here! I’m liking One Day in December. I’d love to hear that as an actual song. 🙂
Thanks! I was imagining that one as a Coldplay song.
I love your choices! Monday’s Not Coming really broke my heart though, so I’m curious what kind of song that would be, or if it would even be related to the plot of the novel. great post <3
Thanks! In my head, I’m imagining it as a Tori Amos song.
My mind totally blanked on this topic, but you did a great job! I can totally hear all these as songs.
Happy TTT!

Thank you! )
Oh, I love your choices, these would totally work!
Thanks! 🙂
I’ve seen PS I Still Love You and One of Us Is Lying on a couple of other lists today too!
Cool! 🙂
I love music, so this is such a fun prompt. I can totally see Famous in a Small Town as a song – makes me think of the country song “Break Up In a Small Town” by Sam Hunt.
-Lauren
I was thinking of it as a Taylor Swift song, but Sam Hunt works too. 🙂
Famous in a Small Town has such possibilities as a song title! I love that one.
Thanks!
I loved this post so much!!! Several are on my TBR.
Thanks!
I totally could! My favorite would be Chasing Lucky and that would be a country song 😉
I was imagining it as a T. Swift song, but I also think that would be a great title for a country song. 🙂
Great list! Ooh Monday’s Not Coming would be such a good song title.
Thanks! Yeah, I kept picturing that one as a Tori Amos song.
One Of Us Is Lying- fabulous choice! Chasing Lucky as well!
Thanks!
Yes no maybe so is totally a Britney song! And I can so imagine dancing to it!!
Miranda Lambert actually does have a song called “Famous in a Small Town” on her Crazy Ex-Girlfriend album.
