Top Ten Tuesday: Ten New-to-Me Romance Authors I Hope to Read for the First Time in 2023

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.  Top Ten Tuesday has been one of my favorite memes ever since I started blogging, so huge thanks to Jana for taking over the hosting duties!

This week’s TTT topic is actually meant to be Indie/Self-Published Books but I am sadly not great at keeping track of which of the authors I read are considered Indie.  That said, I thought it would be fun to share some new-to-me romance authors that I’m hoping to read for the first time this year.  I keep hearing great things about their books from fellow bloggers and bookstagrammers so I’m very excited to give them all a try.  I do believe some of them are Indie as well, so I’m not completely rogue this week, haha.

Great topic, Suzanne! Devney Perry and Catherine Cowles are both big favorites of mine. I’ve loved everything I’ve read by them. Elsie Silver is one I definitely want to try this year, too.

I’m a big fan of Katee Robert and Sierra Simone! Katee’s Neon Gods series is fantastic (which reminds me, I need to read the latest one still!) and I’ve read a handful of Sierra Simone’s books and I feel like you can’t go wrong there either – hope you like both of them! 🙂

I don’t know about Hooked, but I’m pretty sure the rest of these are all indie/self-pubbed. So you got the topic done without getting the topic done. 😉 haha! I love it! I hope you love all of these.

So many books on here are also on my TBR — The Fine Print, Twisted Love, Hooked. All I’m dying to dive into. I haven’t heard of a few, but thanks to you sharing, they are now added to the never-ending TBR hehe.

I recently read The Fine Print. I thought it was a lot of fun. Silver and Cowles are two I would like to try as well.

Great list! I’m hoping to read Lauren Asher and finally give Priest a read this year. Asher’s books have been super popular over the last couple of months so I’m definitely curious to see if they live up to the hype. I hope you enjoy these books! Happy reading 🙂
