Can’t Wait Wednesday – CODE NAME SAPPHIRE by Pam Jenoff

“Waiting On” Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted at Breaking the Spine, which encourages fellow bloggers to spotlight upcoming releases that we’re excited about.  It is a meme that I have  loved participating in since I first started blogging, but as Jill is no longer actively posting, from now on I’ll be linking to Can’t Wait Wednesday, hosted by Tressa at Wishful Endings, which is a spinoff of the original WoW meme.

My selection for this week is CODE NAME SAPPHIRE by Pam Jenoff.  I’ve been on the hunt for new WWII historical fiction to add to my TBR and came across this one.  My last two reads from Jenoff were both five stars, so I’m excited to get my hands on a copy of her latest, which sounds like such a powerful story.

Wow — why did we not learn more about women and what they did in the war, considering this gem is inspired by true stories?
