Top Ten Tuesday: One-Word Reviews for the Last 10 Books I Read But Didn’t Review on the Blog

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.  Top Ten Tuesday has been one of my favorite memes ever since I started blogging, so huge thanks to Jana for taking over the hosting duties!

This week’s TTT topic is actually supposed to be Hilarious Book Titles, but I wasn’t feeling that one so I decided to revisit a topic from a few months ago that I really enjoyed –  One-Word Reviews for the Last Ten Books I Read But Didn’t Review on the Blog.  I’ve been really knocking out books from my own shelves this year, but I haven’t been spending much time reviewing them on this site.  I like how this topic allows me to at least briefly share what else I’ve been reading lately.

Ok, I cannot go past a title like The Steminist Novellas (Under one Roof) and a descriptor like Adorable! And that cute cover!!!

There’s something about writing a review of a book, even if it is simply a one-word review, that gives a read a sense of completion.

I haven’t read any of these, so, sadly, I can’t comment. But your one-word reviews are all positive, I think, and would encourage a reader to read any or all of them.

I have a couple of these on my TBR, but the one that sticks out to me is one I’ve already read, After I Do – “resonates” is such a great word to describe that book!

I really like one word reviews. I’ve seen some other bloggers do them too and it’s kinda neat. Distilling your thoughts/ feelings on a book down to one word… anyways The Diamond Eye looks really good (and your one word doesn’t hurt!), and yay Taylor Jenkins Reid! Need to read more of her as well…

I wasn’t feeling the hilarious book title prompt this week either. I love the one-word descriptions you chose for these books! I thought Something Wilder was a fun book, and I have The Hidden One on my TBR list.

I hope you enjoy The Hidden One. When I originally requested it, I didn’t realize it was the 14th book in a series but thankfully it worked great as a standalone.
