Top Ten Tuesday – Books from my Past Seasonal TBR Posts I STILL Haven’t Read

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.  Top Ten Tuesday has been one of my favorite memes ever since I started blogging, so huge thanks to Jana for taking over the hosting duties!

This week’s TTT topic is Books from my Past Seasonal TBR Posts I STILL Haven’t Read. I was actually impressed with myself when I sat down to do this topic because I had to go back through my seasonal TBRs all the way to 2017 in order to find ten books I still hadn’t read yet.  I can’t remember but I think a couple of these may have been DNFs.  Apparently I do pretty well on those seasonal TBRs. 🙂

4.  WITH THE FIRE ON HIGH by Elizabeth Acevedo (Summer 2020)

5. DESCENDANT OF THE CRANE by Joan He (Spring 2019)

6. JACK KEROUAC IS DEAD TO ME by Gae Polisner (Spring 2020)

I’ve loved everything I’ve read from Chamberlain so far. Definitely recommend her most recent books if you like a mix of mystery and historical fiction.

I enjoyed When We Left Cuba and do recommend it. I am reading Something Wilder this weekend (I hope). You have some others on here that interest me though, Suzanne. I will be checking them out.

I really need to get to the Cuba book. I’ve read every other book in the series but skipped over that one somehow.

Daughter of the Pirate King and When We Left Cuba are two I’ve read. That’s pretty impressive that you had to go that far back to find enough books you hadn’t read!

We Are Okay has been on my TBR for what feels like FOREVER now! I really want to read it but then I never get around to it thanks to being a total mood reader. I did eventually get around to reading WTFOH and I adored it so much. I hope you enjoy these books whenever you get to them!

With The Fire On High was such a good read, I really enjoyed that audiobook!

And Something Wilder, well, Christina Lauren have not led me astray yet, I loveddd their newest one and I think you will too if/when you pick it up!

I’m just reading Something Wilder right now and it’s a lot of fun so far. I’m really liking Lily and Leo, the two main characters. 🙂

I’ve read Daughter of The Pirate King and I found it really fun! I wasn’t such a fan of Descendant of The Crane, I found it kind of slow.

Wow that is impressive that you had to go back to 2017 to get 10 books! I only had to go back to 2021 haha *oops*
Something Wilder is still on my TBR too, hope we’ll both enjoy it when we get to it 🙂

I’m actually hoping to read Something Wilder sometime in the next week or so if I can get caught up on my ARC reviews.

I wish I did better on my reading lists! 🙂 Great job though. I love the cover of Seafire. I think I wanted to read that one, actually, back when it came out…

Yeah same here. I can’t decide if I still want to read it at this point though. My last few YA fantasy reads were just kind of average.

I read half of those books. I was a bit let down by Polisner’s book. I didn’t get it, but CLo, Elizabeth Acevedo, and Levenseller were fabulous. I Stop Somewhere was really emotional and painful, but very good.
