Top Ten Tuesday – Books I Hope to Find Under My Tree on Christmas Morning

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.  Top Ten Tuesday has been one of my favorite memes ever since I started blogging, so huge thanks to Jana for taking over the hosting duties!

This week’s TTT topic is Books I Hope to Find Under My Tree on Christmas Morning.  This is an easy topic just because I always keep my Amazon Book Wishlist updated since books are pretty much always my preferred gift to receive.  Below are a few random ones from my wishlist.  I’ve got a few preorders from favorite authors like V.C. Schwab, Emily Henry, and Kate Quinn, a few books I’ve been hearing good things about and really want to read, and then one (Under the Whispering Door) that I read as an ARC but loved it so much that I want a physical copy for my collection.

Honestly though, I probably won’t get any of these for Christmas. It will most likely be me using gift cards to purchase a few of them after Christmas, lol.

I always blank out when people ask me what I want so I find the wishlists very handy. I update it a few times a year and forward it to anyone who asks me for gift ideas.

I’m soooo excited for Book of Night ahhhh! I can’t wait to read that! I probably won’t get any books for Christmas either, my family doesn’t gift me books, but hey, like you said, giftcards are great and we can treat ourselves! 😉 Have a great holiday!!

I am ALWAYS hoping to get books for gifts, LOL! Rarely does anyone pick them up for me, they like to get me other things, but that’s okay. I eventually buy them for myself, LOL. I do have several books under my Christmas tree, not just for me, but each member of my family (and extended family) gets books! (other things too). I hope you find some of these under the tree! Merry Christmas and happy reading! https://cindysbookcorner.blogspot.com/2021/12/top-ten-tuesday-books-i-wish-santa.html

I occasionally get actual books but usually it’s gift cards so I buy them myself. I love that you give books as gifts. Merry Christmas to you!

I have a pre-order of Gallant too, I’m so excited for it! I’m also really excited for The Diamond Eye but I’m waiting for the audiobook to be available to pre-order because I’ve loved listening to her other books.

I agree on the audiobooks for Quinn’s novels. I just finished listening to The Rose Code last week and thought it was brilliant.

I hope you get some, but if not happy shopping after the holiday haha! I love the look of The Diamond Eye, and maybe 2022 will be the year I try Holly Black!

I want Book Lovers too. I am sure it will be a hit! You know how I felt about Wardrobe. Muphy’s book was really good for me too. And, well, Lauren Layne is an auto-read for me, and I thought the Central Pack Pact series was fabulous. Each book better than the last.

Wardrobe is definitely the one I’ll be buying for myself if it’s not under the tree in the morning. It just sounds like such a special book. Merry Christmas Sam!
