Top Ten Tuesday – Catch the Rainbow: Books on My TBR That Have Colors in the Titles

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.  Top Ten Tuesday has been one of my favorite memes ever since I started blogging, so huge thanks to Jana for taking over the hosting duties!

This week’s TTT topic is BOOKS WITH COLORS IN THE TITLES. I decided to peruse my TBR for this week’s topics and was pleased to find that I actually have ten books sitting on my TBR that fit this topic.

This is such a pretty graphic with very pretty covers, Suzanne! The White Witch, Gods of Jade and Shadow and Black Sun! So pretty! And actually, more than a couple are new to me too! Great list!

I probably should have made it easier on myself and also used my TBR shelf, but I stuck with my Read shelf only. I must be a glutton for punishment. LOL I’ve heard good things about The Priory of the Orange Tree but that is one l-o-n-g book!

Right? It’s a brick. I’m waiting for a hold on the audiobook to be available in hopes that will help me get through it easier.

Ramona made my list too. I found I do not read many books with colors in them this week. I was happy to find 10. I am impressed with your list. You have quite a few different colors there too.

Yeah, I don’t seem to read many with colors in them either. I thought the topic would be easy-breezy but once I got started, not so much, lol.

This is the second time today that I’ve seen Black Sun mentioned and I can’t believe I’ve never heard of it before now! It’s such a gorgeous cover and the story sounds so good 😍Great list!

The only one of these I’ve read is Priory of The Orange Tree, which was also on my list this week. I really enjoyed it, it’s a bit daunting in terms of size but the story is great.

What a fun topic! Now I want to go through all of my TBR books to see what I come up with. Several of these actually are on there too. Priory of The Orange Tree and Gods of Jade and Shadow among them. I have read a couple on your list, Half of a Yellow Sun (which I loved) and The Crimson Petal and the White (which was really good). I hope you read these when you read them!

I have not read any of these but they all look great! The only book that sounds familiar to me is The Priory Of The Orange Tree. Guess my wishlist just grew again *sigh* Thank you for sharing them.

Thanks! Hopefully we’ll both enjoy those. I’m hoping to read The Priory of the Orange Tree on audio since it’s such a huge book.
