Top Ten Tuesday – Most Anticipated Book Releases for the First Half of 2020

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.  Top Ten Tuesday has been one of my favorite memes ever since I started blogging, so huge thanks to Jana for taking over the hosting duties!

This week’s TTT topic is Most Anticipated Book Releases for the First Half of 2020.  I have so many anticipated releases for the first half of the year that it was nearly impossible to pick just ten.  The ones I’ve chosen to feature this week are new releases from favorite authors, new books in some of my favorite series, and a MacBeth retelling that sounds really good.

Happy reading, everyone!  I can’t wait to read all of your most anticipated lists!

Great list! Foul is Fair and Shorefall both made my list this week, too. I’ve heard so many good things about A Curse So Dark and Lonely – I need to cross it off my TBR!

There are so many amazing releases already in the first half of this year. The Honey-Don’t List made it onto my TTT today too. I can’t wait for SJM’s new book as well and AHSFAB 😍 I hope you enjoy all of the books on this great list!

It’s hard to only pick ten! I changed my list up a little to only include the first quarter, and I still had trouble😁 Awesome list, Shorefall is definitely one of my most anticipated books of the year😁

Bromance is everywhere today. I LOVE IT! I am always eager to read some Maas and CLo too. I have had only success with those authors.

A great list! I’m looking forward to Shorefall as I really loved the previous book, despite having a few issues with it. The magic system is really cool and original, though.

I’m looking forward to reading the books by Lyssa Kay Adams. Kemmerer is another author I really want to try. All of your books sound good. It was hard to narrow down the list, wasn’t it? I hope you enjoy all of these when you read them! Happy Reading!

The cover for Shorefall is soooo striking! And Undercover Bromance — yeah, I want to see how this series continues — especially with those two!

Right? I’m trying to get my January ARCs finished but I really just want to skip over them and read Undercover Bromance instead.

I’m so glad to hear that about AHSFAB. That’s probably the read I’m most excited for. I just love the way Kemmerer writes.

I feel like I’ve said this a million times looking at everyone’s post, but leaving Crescent City off my list was a total fail on my part. I can’t wait to read it!! I’m reading A Heart So Fierce and Broken now. I still need to read The Bromance Book Club.

Hi Suzanne, Happy new year! These new releases for 2020 look interesting! I don’t recognize any authors but I have now added Meg Gardiner to my TBR. In fact, I’m getting one of hers from the library so I can read the book before the one that’s listed here. Thanks for sharing as I tend to fall back on old favorites. It’s so nice to get new authors in my reading mix!

Happy New Year, Lisa! I hope you enjoy Meg Gardiner’s series. I loved the first two books in the series so I’m looking forward to diving into the third soon.
