Weekly Recap #99: Week of 4/7 – 4/13

It’s time for another weekly recap post of all things happening on and off the blog. This week I’ll be linking to the Sunday Post, which is hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviewer and to Stacking the Shelves, which is hosted by Tynga’s Reviews.

*Checks self*  Yep, still tired, still busy, and the whole week was a blur.  There’s light at the end of the work tunnel though because the tax deadline is tomorrow.  WOOHOO!

All I really have on my mind right now though is that Games of Thrones is back TONIGHT!  I was up until 1a.m. last night working on blog posts for the upcoming week because I will be doing nothing tonight except tuning in to see how this final season kicks off. I’m so excited!

I do have to catch up on my blog hopping, so thanks as always for your patience in that.  I had very good intentions of doing it yesterday but then sat down to read what I thought would be just a few chapters of The Bride Test.  Twelve hours later (!), I had finished the book and hadn’t visited a single blog. No regrets though because The Bride Test is amazing and I think that’s exactly how I needed to spend my Saturday.

Okay that’s it for now.  Have a great week, everyone!

I’m still tired too! I am jazzed about GoT. I never watch anything live but will watch this. Ugh I’m so jealous of everyone reading the Bride Test. I can’t wait until it comes out!!!! Enjoy your new books and have a great week!

Spending a whole day reading and ignoring everything else sounds like a perfect day! I love your Totally Random this week – I’ve been in that situation many times!

I am the last person on this Earth, who has not seen GoT. Glad you are excited about it though. I have P&P&OF on my TBR. I hope it’s great.

I know a lot of people are excited about Game of Thrones. LOL I’ve never watched it though.
I need to blog ahead though and get some posts scheduled. I feel so behind these days.

Yay for the end of tax season! I hope you enjoy Game of Thrones tonight. I have only seen the first season. One day I will watch the rest. 🙂 And maybe by then I will forget any spoilers I hear about this season. Haha. I hope you are enjoying your current reads. The Dev and Seanan books are both ones I am really looking forward to. I’m Not Dying With You Tonight sounds intense and emotional. I hope you enjoy all your new books! Have a great week, Suzanne!

I had gotten behind on GoT for a while there too but finally got all caught up in 2018. Season 8 is off to a great start so definitely worth binging at some point.

A day late and a dollar short. 😛 Catching up today. Always enjoy seeing what you’re reading and reviewing, Suzanne.
Some of these book covers are amazingly enticing!!

Now, I’m ever so curious about GOT. Was it as good as you hoped? I’m a GOT’er *hangs head in shame*

I really enjoyed the episode, although I wanted more from it, probably just because we’ve been waiting so long for the new season. Next week looks amazing though.

I love how you binged The Bride Test like that! 🙂 I just loved it and would be hard-pressed to pick a favorite esteem it and TKQ. I am not a TV watcher at all… but I do make an exception for GoT. Good episode last night but I think I was expecting/hoping for greatness. Totally excited for next week’s episode, though. Cersei and Euron?! Eurgh!

Yes, I wanted a little more from the first episode of GoT. I understand why they started with all of those little reunion moments, but I’m ready for action now.

With starting a blog I sometimes feel guilty that I am reading instead of writing posts and answering comments.
Hopefully, you’ll have some rest after THE deadline)))

Thanks, I did get a lot of rest this week so hopefully I’ll be able to better balance my blogging and reading time now.
