Top Ten Books I Resolve to Read in 2018

top ten tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is a fun weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. This week’s topic is Top Ten Books I’m Looking Forward to In 2018 (These could be new releases, or books you resolve to read, ten debuts we are looking forward to, etc.)

* * * * *

Now that the end of the year is upon us, it’s time to start thinking about those New Year’s resolutions.  Normally I don’t make many because I almost always fail at them, but I’m thinking I might actually have a good chance of succeeding at a bookish-themed resolution.

In that spirit, I’ve come up with a list of Top 10 Books I Resolve to Read in 2018.  These are all books that I have heard nothing but wonderful things about but somehow still have not managed to make the time to read them.  It’s actually embarrassing how long some of them have been on my TBR and how long I’ve talked about how much I’m dying to read them but then never following through.  So now it’s time to make a real effort to do something about it.

    Ah, I hope you love Dark Matter! It was so good! I liked Ink and Bone, it definitely was non-stop action. Rebel of the Sands is one that’s on my list for next year, too.

      I’m glad to hear you enjoyed Ink and Bone. I haven’t seen too many reviews for that one, which is one of the reasons I keep pushing it aside for other books.

    Oh I do love bookish resolutions 🙂 I’ve read and loved Shadow and Bone, Nevernight and The Raven Boys so I hope you’ll love them as well! All the others are still on my TBR, so I hope to get to them soon, especially Rebel of the Sands and Ink and Bone.

    Best of luck – these are all great reads is the reviews are anything to go by. I can personally vouch for Rebel of the Sands, which I loved. Dark Matter is certainly one I want to get hold of . I hope you get these read and off your TBR list:))

    Dark Matter is so good and kinda trippy. ESpecially the end when things get crazy. 🙂 And A Feast for Crows- lots of stuff happens in that one. 🙂

    Fun list!

    I read the Raven Cycle books and started the Great Library books. I really liked them both. I had my eye on Dark Matter. I have seen so many raves. I think I need to check it out.

    Oh I need to read some of these still too. I own Ink and Bone, and my sister has Salt to the Sea, so I’m one step closer right? LOL I also really want to read Nevernight! I’ve only read The Raven Boys from your list but I’ve read the whole series and it’s great!

      The Raven Boys is the one I’m most embarrassed to still have on my TBR. I’ve been wanting to read it for several years now and just keep pushing it off. Hopefully 2018 will be the year I finally read the entire series!

    I read Shadow and Bone back when it was released and thought it was really something special so I hope you love it as well! I want to read Salt to the Sea in 2018 too. I thought Ruta’s debut novel was amazing, even though it shattered my heart into a million pieces.
